Blue Khesh Kantha Saree

This handwoven, handcrafted Khesh saree with kantha work is from Birbhum district of West Bengal. This beautiful Khesh saree is in dual toned blue colour. Typical to this sustainable fabric, the saree has yellowish and reddish multi-coloured stripes all over the body and the palllu. To accentuate the beauty of the saree, kantha work is done on the saree in white. Delicate stripes made of floral pattern using kantha work is done in between the khesh stripes throughout the body. On the pallu, kantha work done in between the khesh stripes is much denser and makes use of different design patterns. The pallu also has black tassels to compliment the saree. This saree comes with a blouse piece in same dual toned blue colour with khesh stripes and kantha work done along the border.
