Description
This handwoven, handcrafted Khesh saree with kantha work is from Birbhum district of West Bengal. This missing weave Khesh saree in rust colour has a very contrasting indigo blue border. Typical to this sustainable fabric, the saree has orangish multi-coloured stripes all over the body and the palllu. To accentuate the beauty of the saree, kantha work is done on the saree in white colour. Sharp and delicate stripes of kantha work in two different patterns are done alternatively in between the khesh stripes throughout the body. Similar kantha work is also done on the pallu in between the khesh stripes. The pallu also has orange tassels. This saree comes with a blouse piece in rust colour with khesh stripes and kantha work done along the border.
This elegant cotton saree is extremely comfortable and is perfect for your office or for an outing. This saree definitely qualifies as boardroom formal attire for your all important business meeting. This saree can be paired with a variety of jewelry ranging from fabric-based to terracotta to tribal dokra art jewelry.
