Beige With Black N Turmeric Yellow Dhonekhali Cotton Saree

This elegant beige and turmeric yellow Dhonekhali cotton saree, comes from a place known as Dhonekhali in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This handloom marked saree has a beautiful horizontal design with turmeric yellow and black stripes that alternates with horizontal floral patterns woven using turmeric yellow and black yarn, covering the entire body of the saree. The saree has dual-coloured broad plain border in turmeric yellow and black. The pallu of the saree has simple stripes of varying width in black and yellow that run vertically over the horizontal design of the body. The pallu of the saree is adorned with the trademark ‘khejur chori’ design thread atypical of a Dhonekhali saree. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.
