Persian Pink Muslin Silk Sequin Work Saree

This beautiful silk-marked muslin silk saree is woven in West Bengal. This Persian Pink saree has golden sequins woven throughout the entire saree. The sequin work done here is extra special as the sequins are woven into at the time of weaving the saree, termed as “pocket sequin” and are not stitched to the saree. This ensures that the sequins remain permanently attached. The pallu of the saree is also Persian Pink in colour and is made out of matka silk. The entire pallu has teal green horizontal stripes woven with sequins using extra-weft weaving technique. The border of the saree also has similar teal green vertical stripes woven with sequins. The saree comes with a matching plain blouse piece in matka silk.

This saree has quite a contemporary appeal and is suitable as occasional wear for special events especially day events. It’s an extremely light weighted saree having a soft texture. It is very comfortable to drape and carry. This saree goes well with semi-precious stone or crystal jewellery.
