Light Grey with Black N Teal Dhonekhali Cotton Saree

This crisp Dhonekhali cotton saree, comes from Dhonekhali in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This handloom marked saree has attractive horizontal design with teal green and black stripes on light grey base that alternates with horizontal floral patterns in teal green and black, covering the entire body of the saree The saree has dual-coloured broad plain border in teal green and black. The pallu of the saree has simple stripes of varying width in teal green that run vertically over the horizontal design on the white base. The pallu of the saree is adorned with the trademark ‘khejur chori’ design thread atypical of a Dhonekhali saree. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.
