Light Olive Green Red N Black Begumpuri Cotton Saree

This handloom mark cotton saree is handwoven in the small town of Begumpur in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This saree is in light olive green colour having ganga jamuna border in red and black with ikkat like pattern in black that beautifully overlaps the border as well as the body of the saree. The solid coloured borders have white stripes on it. The saree has extra weft woven vertical stripes in red and black positioned alternatively all over the body and on the pallu. The frequency of vertical stripes increase towards the pallu making the drape look quite appealing. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.

This is perfect for a regular day at office or for a casual outing. This saree would look perfect with some handmade fabric or beads jewellery.
