Navy Blue Multicolour Border N Jute-Ghicha Pallu Handloom Cotton Saree

This elegant handloom cotton saree is woven by skilled weavers from Phulia in Nadia district, West Bengal.

The saree features a plain base in navy blue colour. The base is crafted using the traditional missing weave technique. Its highlight is the striking broad striped border in a beautiful palette of bright orange, teal green, royal blue, maroon and ecru colours. The pallu showcases horizontal stripes in shades of maroon, orange and royal blue along both the edges, while the center is adorned with a textured block woven using jute and ghicha yarns, adding a unique artisanal touch. The pallu is finished with exquisite long braided tassels. A matching running blouse piece in navy blue is included featuring broad multicolour striped borders. The saree comes lightly starched for structure but will soften beautifully after a couple of washes.
