Olive Green with Mustard N Navy Blue Dhonekhali Cotton Saree

This gorgeous handloom marked Dhonekhali cotton saree, comes from a place known as Dhonekhali in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This olive green saree has a beautiful horizontal design with narrow white stripes that alternates with horizontal aztec-like pattern in mustard and navy blue, covering the entire body of the saree. The saree has broad plain ganga-jamuna border in mustard and navy blue. The pallu of the saree has simple stripes of varying width in lighter shade of the base olive green colour that run vertically over the horizontal design. The pallu of the saree is adorned with the trademark ‘khejur chori’ design thread atypical of a Dhonekhali saree. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.

This saree is an absolute summer staple. The saree is extremely comfortable and would see you through the entire day. This saree can be paired with either fabric, beads or oxidized silver jewellery.
