Beige N Cadmium Red Dhonekhali Cotton Saree

This handloom marked Dhonekhali cotton saree, comes from Dhonekhali in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This saree has a beautiful horizontal design with narrow stripes in cadmium red and green with blocks of horizontal aztec-like pattern in between the stripes in cadmium red covering the entire body of the saree. The saree has broad plain border in cadmium red. The pallu of the saree has simple stripes of varying width in lighter shade of the cadmium red colour that run vertically over the horizontal design. The pallu of the saree is adorned with the trademark ‘khejur chori’ design thread atypical of a Dhonekhali saree. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.

This saree is perfect for any homely religious ceremony. The saree is extremely soft and comfortable. This saree can be paired with fabric or simple gold jewellery.
