Carnation Pink Dhonekhali Cotton Saree

This girlish carnation pink Dhonekhali saree in handspun cotton is handwoven in a place called Dhonekhali in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This handloom marked saree has an extra broad woven border in muted golden and hot pink with a hint of black at the bottom. The broad border at the bottom is matched by a relatively narrower woven border in same colours on the top. The pallu of the saree has simple plain dual toned black (appears as grey) stripes that compliments the bold gorgeous border perfectly. The simplicity of the pallu is complimented with soft tassels. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.

This light weight cotton saree is extremely comfortable and is perfect for a regular day at office or for a daytime casual outing. This saree can be paired with a variety of jewellery ranging from oxidized silver to trendy fabric and beads jewellery.
