Description
This beautiful handloom mark cotton saree is handwoven in the small town of Begumpur in Hooghly district of West Bengal. This kombu green (dual toned with black) Begumpuri saree has a traditional extra weft border in muted mustard with a hint of red. Temple patterns in mustard are also woven on the edges of the border. The pallu of the saree has alternate mustard (dual toned) and red stripes (dual toned) woven across the width. The pallu is further adorned with long tassels in black. This saree doesn’t come with a blouse piece.
This vibrant saree would look good both at the work place and for your casual evening outs. The saree would look beautiful with any simple gold or fabric-based jewellery.
