Limade Green Multi Green Border N Jute-Ghicha Pallu Handloom Cotton Saree

This elegant handloom cotton saree is woven by skilled weavers from Phulia in Nadia district, West Bengal.

The saree features a plain base in limade green colour. The base is crafted using the traditional missing weave technique. Its highlight is the striking broad striped border in a beautiful palette of various shades of green colours. The pallu showcases horizontal stripes in three different shades of green along both the edges, while the center is adorned with a textured block woven using jute and ghicha yarns, adding a unique artisanal touch. The pallu is finished with exquisite long braided tassels. A matching running blouse piece in limade is included featuring broad multi-green striped borders. The saree comes lightly starched for structure but will soften beautifully after a couple of washes.
