Brown Batik Zari Check Tussar Silk Saree

Description

This sober batik painted Tussar silk saree is woven and printed in West Bengal. This silk mark saree is a non-mulberry silk and has a gold zari check woven on the tussar fabric. The saree has a visually pleasing multi-colour leaf design using wax batik on the body. This batik leaf design blocks alternates with plain brown blocks making an interesting design pattern on the entire body of the saree. The saree has a broad gold zari border on brown base. The pallu of the saree has blocks of vertical zari stripes alternating with the blocks of batik leaf design. Same zari check tussar fabric is used for the blouse piece. The plain brown blouse piece has broad gold zari border on both the ends. One end of the blouse piece also has a multi-colour batik stripes accompanying the zari border.
