Purplish Blue N Pink Handspun Cotton Jamdani Saree

Description

This soft handspun cotton Jamdani saree is woven in East Bardhman district of West Bengal. Small ‘tara’ (star) motifs in white and pink adorns the entire body of this purplish blue saree. The technique of weaving makes the motifs appear as if they are floating on the fabric. The purplish blue body of the saree is well complimented with a thin pink border. The saree has alternate blocks of pink stripes and pink and white geometrical motifs woven on the entire pallu. The pallu is also adorned with purplish blue tassels. The saree comes with a blouse piece in pupulish blue colour with pink thin stripes running through the entire piece.

The soft and subtle design of the saree makes it perfect for work and also for casual outings in summers. This saree goes very well with either fabric jewellery or stone/beads or silver jewellery. Light jewellery goes well with this saree. Going easy with styling is the trick to look classy in this saree.
